shoeface's first pop-up event

·
At the beginning of November, shoeface held its first pop-up shop.
We were approached by Isetan Men's Style at Osaka Lucua.
We normally only sell our products online, so this was the first time that customers had the opportunity to see the actual product in person.

Most of our staff have small children, so it's difficult for us to go on overnight business trips.
I really didn't want to miss the opportunity to talk to them and see our products firsthand, so I managed to attend on the first day.
We also met up with another staff member who normally lives in Shizuoka and works in sales, and the two of us worked at the counter.
With only a limited number of items on display, having two sales staff there during the day on a weekday would only be a nuisance, but when I asked if I could study the items, I was kindly agreed, and I am very grateful to Isetan for that.

I was on a day trip between Fukuoka and Osaka, so I got home early in the evening,
Even in such a short time, I was able to hear a lot of different stories and spend a very meaningful time.

First, talk to the staff.
I learned a lot, such as who I should be reaching out to and what it is that they find attractive about me.
She attached scarf shoelaces to my CT70s, which looked great on me.

Then there was a female customer who said that she doesn't usually wear sneakers at all.
The best part about being in a store is having people like that notice our products. We are thrilled to be able to reach people who we wouldn't be able to reach through social media alone.
As she was choosing a gift for her partner, she decided she wanted one for herself and began choosing one.
I understand!
When you see someone else choosing it, you end up wanting it yourself.
He said he doesn't usually wear them, but he plans to wear them on his trip.
I think this is especially true for people who don't usually wear sneakers, but for those who like girly or glamorous styles, it can be a bit of a concern if your feet look different in situations where sneakers are definitely appropriate, like when traveling.
If you can't find sneakers that suit your style, just change the laces to create sneakers that suit your style!
Of course, I want to deliver this to sneaker lovers, but I also felt that I needed to think of ways to reach out to people who have these concerns because they don't normally wear sneakers.

We say things together, like, this is good, that is good, but this one is like this, so this one is better.
Thank you for the fun of choosing while we talked!

Also, a staff member from another tenant on the same floor came to see the pop-up because he had seen it on social media and knew we were coming.
Also, since I had already left I wasn't able to talk to them directly, but some people who had purchased items online came to the store.
Apparently, you can better appreciate the gloss and other qualities by seeing the actual item, so she carefully chose while looking at the actual item.

It's frustrating that I can't write about all the other people I met, but every interaction I had with each person was a treasure.

After that, the event was held for a period of two weeks.
Thank you very much to everyone who came.
I am very happy to have the opportunity to have so many people see it in person.

You can enjoy the pleasure of taking your time to carefully choose from a wide selection of products online, and even if you can't see everything, you can still enjoy the pleasure of looking at the actual products and chatting with us while you make your selection.
I feel that both have their own charms.

If I am given the opportunity in the future, I would like to continue taking on new challenges.

Well, I wrote it carefully, but it was simply really fun!
It's been a while since I've had a Shinkansen or an Ekiben!
(I had my favorite local ekiben for breakfast, but it was a bit much and made me realize how old I am. When I was younger, I used to eat that same bento for breakfast and even drink beer...)
For lunch, the staff recommended a udon restaurant.
But I accidentally went into another udon restaurant nearby...
When I tried to leave the floor, I couldn't open the staff entrance door, so I had to walk around two or three times and ask the staff several times!
On the way back, I encountered Doctor Yellow at Shin-Osaka Station.
As the station attendant watched everyone taking pictures of the train body, he remarked with a sigh, "The setting sun is so beautiful at times like this," and when I looked in his direction, I saw a beautiful sunset shining brightly beyond Doctor Yellow, and I thought to myself, wow, what a beautiful day it had been.
On the way back on the Shinkansen, the guy sitting next to me was working hard, so I had to forgo the snacks and non-alcoholic beer. That's the only thing I regret.

Thank you for the best day!
I'll do my best and look forward to the day I can see you all again!
