The story of the POP-UP in my hometown of Fukuoka and the decision to hold it again at Lucua 1100, where the first POP-UP was held.
Last Monday, July 19th , our POP-UP at Tokyu Hands Hakata store, which had been held for a little over two weeks, was successfully completed.
I was deeply moved when I was asked to hold the event in my hometown of Fukuoka for the first time.
When holding an event in a distant location, it is difficult for staff to be in the store for long periods of time due to the current state of the world, as well as their own family circumstances and work duties, but this time, as the event was in Fukuoka, we were able to be in the store only three Saturdays during the event!
I had the opportunity to talk to a lot of people, including customers of a different age group than those who purchase online, young people I don't usually interact with, the very kind staff at Tokyu Hands, people supporting sales of other products that were being held at an event at the same time, and creators, and it was a really fun time!
I'm usually an introverted person who spends my days alone, basically turning on my favorite radio and silently staring at my PC , products, samples and fabrics, so these three days were very refreshing and allowed me to make many discoveries.
I've fallen short in many areas, so I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize and express my heartfelt thanks!
I will continue to live my days inward seriously so that I can have another opportunity like this.
after that.
This is a bit of behind-the-scenes story, but the person in charge at Hands who contacted us this time.
In fact, he saw shoeface 's first pop-up held at Isetan in Osaka Lucua last year and had been thinking that he would like to do it someday.
What a coincidence!
You never know where or who is watching you! In a good way!
Soon after we decided to hold the event at Tokyu Hands, we received an inquiry from Isetan at Lucua about holding a second pop-up event.
What timing!
And it's the second time, so isn't it super exciting? I'm already overjoyed.
Last time, we were at Isetan Men's Style/Casual Wear, but this time we're at the men's shoe department at Lucua 1100 in Osaka. Of course, we'll be bringing our latest scarves, which haven't been released online yet! While shoeface staff won't be there, we hope you'll come and see them in person.
Starting the day after tomorrow, July 28th!!
